HOUSE SOUND SYSTEM: Turbosound 15” main flying speakers, Turbosound 12” wedge
monitors, 16 line snake, QSC RMX 2450 amplifiers, Allen & Heath PA20 console, 2
boom stands, 2 straight stands, 8 cables, 2 Shure SM58 microphones, 2 Shure SM57
microphones. All equipment must be returned at the completion of the performance.
STAGE SET UP: 12’ x 8’stage can accommodate four, but room can be made on the
sides of the stage for additional performers. Artists must bring their own backline but
can connect through the house DI boxes.
STAGE LIGHTS: Stage lighting can not be customized and will only be operated by the
staff of Café Arabica.
SOUND CHECK: Artists should be ready to perform a sound check at least one hour in
advance of the first artist scheduled for the evening. Café Arabica does employ a
sound engineer, however unless specific arrangements have been made for Café
Arabica to provide the sound engineer’s services you should expect to bring your own.
LOAD IN: Artists should complete load in early enough to be ready to go for sound
check no less than one hour in advance of the first scheduled performance. No
equipment, bags, road boxes or personal belongings may be left around the stage or in
customer seating areas. All personal belongings must be kept in the artists
lounge/green room. Café Arabica bears no responsibility for lost or stolen items.
HOSPITALITY: Café Arabica will discount your purchases at 50% off your entire bill.
Hospitality does not include friends, family, managers, groupies, tag alongs, assistants,
significant others, sound engineers, roadies, or whomever else is not going to be on
stage actually performing nor may any of the aforementioned enter the artists
lounge/green room without prior approval. Artists are asked to wait in the lounge after
completing the sound check and the until the start of the performance.
PROMOTIONS: Artists that book a performance at Café Arabica agree by booking a
performance at Café Arabica that it shall be both the artists and venues responsibility
to promote. The artist shall provide at least five 11 x 17 promotional posters, three
demo CD’s, and five press kits. The artist must also provide at least one picture of a CD
cover, one promotional picture and one picture of the artists performing. Pictures
should be provided in a high resolution format appropriate for web use such as JPEG,
BMP or GIF. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in cancellation of
your performance.
